Theatre Concentration

  • Participate in workshops led by guest speakers.

  • Attend theatre productions on field trips.

  • Prepare for Creative Arts, Literature & Languages (CALL) & Professional Theatre programs at the CEGEP level (e.g.: Dawson College & John Abbott College). 

Acting Stream

Students participating in the acting stream perform on stage as actors, singers and dancers. Students interested in choreographing dance routines and directing are given the opportunity to practice these skills while preparing for our annual production. 

Tech Crew

Students applying to the Tech Crew must be willing to work hard and get their hands dirty. The Tech Crew is responsible for designing, building and painting sets for our plays and musicals. Being a member of the Tech Crew involves working with tools, paint, lighting, sound, props, costumes, etc. 

Please Note:
Theatre Concentration is a demanding and rewarding program, both for actors and Tech Crew. Please note that preparation for our annual spring musical will require students to be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as during pedagogical days.
